This 1 of 10 Limited Edition print presents an immersive 270° panoramic view of Baker Beach, a perspective rarely captured with such depth and scale. It’s hard to imagine from looking at this image, but it nearly completes a full 360° sweep of the scene—the Golden Gate Bridge on the far right, framed by the Marin Headlands, then rotating left toward Lands End as the sun sinks toward the horizon.

Baker Beach itself is a place of contrasts. Once a military outpost, now a haven for both locals and visitors, it’s where the wild Pacific meets the edge of San Francisco. On a clear day, it offers one of the city’s most dramatic coastal views, with waves rolling onto its deep, golden sands. It’s also a place of unpredictable beauty—one moment sun-drenched, the next wrapped in fog, always shifting with the light and tides.

Created using the Seitz 220VR medium format film scanning slit rotational camera, this image is the result of an extraordinary technical process. The camera, computer-controlled and using extended lengths of medium format film, produces an exceptionally large negative that is drum scanned at extreme resolutions. This method, nearly impossible to replicate with digital photography, allows for an unmatched level of detail, tonal range, and depth.

At 94x21 inches, this museum-quality print commands attention. When framed and matted, the final piece will have additional dimensions due to the matting and frame width. Each print is produced with archival materials to ensure lasting brilliance and depth.
