This 1 of 10 Limited Edition print, photographed by Jesse Goff in 1997, presents a sweeping panoramic view of a tranquil tree canopy in Buenos Aires. Shot in a quiet urban park, the composition draws the eye upward through a delicate weave of leaves and branches, suspended in filtered light. The photograph captures not only the architecture of the trees but the stillness and soft air beneath them—a fleeting moment of peace in the middle of the city.
The scene is alive with texture and subtle contrast: layered greens of the foliage, the earthy browns of twisting trunks, and a gentle diffusion of white light breaking through the canopy. The image offers a meditative perspective on nature’s quiet complexity, set within the structure of a manmade park.
Created using the Seitz 220VR medium format film scanning slit rotational camera, this image is the result of a specialized analog process. The camera’s long, continuous exposure on medium format film produces a large negative, later drum scanned at high resolution, revealing tonal richness and detail that digital methods can’t replicate at this scale.
At 90x23 inches, this museum-quality print commands attention. When framed and matted, the final piece will have additional dimensions due to the matting and frame width. Each print is produced with archival materials to ensure lasting brilliance and depth. As availability decreases, values are expected to rise, making this not only a statement piece but a strong long-term investment for collectors.
